Exceptional Ceramic Sculpture ‘Viellards’ by Gaston Hauchecorne, 1935.
Cooked patinated terra cotta by Gaston Hauchecorne (1880 – 1945). Titled ‘Vieillards’, dated ’27.Oct.1935′, annotated ‘Epreuve Originale’, monogrammed ‘GH’, artist digital fingerprint. Notice the remarquable work on the facial expression. This sculpture is astonishingly modern, even though it is dated 1935, it would be a match in a Chinese contemporary art exhibition.
