Superbe lampe de table moderniste de Jean-Boris Lacroix, circa 1930. Cette lampe a été produite par Mitis, un studio de design français de premier plan pendant la période Art déco. La structure est en métal chromé et verre sablé. Elle dispose de 2 ampoules : une dans le cylindre en verre inférieur et une dans l'abat-jour en verre de la partie supérieure. Un interrupteur sous la partie inférieure permet d'allumer chaque ampoule séparément ou les deux ampoules. Il est en très bon état. Cette lampe est l'une des icônes de la période Art déco moderniste française. Câblée pour une utilisation européenne. Elle mesure 46 cm de haut pour un diamètre de 25 cm. Jean-Boris Lacroix était l'un des principaux créateurs de lampes et de vases vers 1930 ; il a également été directeur créatif de la célèbre maison de couture française Madeleine Vionnet entre 1924 et 1937. It is made of Chromed metal and sandblasted glass. It has 2 light bulbs : one in the bottom glass cylinder and one in the upper part glass shade. A switch below the bottom part allows to turn on each bulb separately or both of the light bulbs. It is in very good condition. This lamp is one of the icon of the modernist French Art Deco period. It is wired for European use. It is 46cm high with a 25cm diameter. Jean-Boris Lacroix was a leading designer of lamps and vases around 1930; he was as well creative director of the famous French fashion house Madeleine Vionnet between 1924 and 1937. Exceptionnelle sculpture/lampe Art Déco de Max Le Verrier (1891-1973) représentant un singe sous un parapluie. Il s'intitule La Pluie "The Rain" ou Le Singe au Parapluie "Monkey with an Umbrella". Modèle créé vers 1925-1927 et récompensé au Salon des Humoristes de Paris en 1927. Lampe de table avec deux ampoules. Coulée de bronze à patine vert antique. L'abat-jour est original et en verre dépoli. Base hexagonale en marbre noir veiné. Signée sur la base "Le Verrier". Edition ancienne très rare. Quelques usures de la patine (voir photos) conformes à l'âge. Câblée pour une utilisation européenne. Superbe paire d'appliques de la Maison Baguès (Paris). Ce modèle aux perroquets est iconique et a fait la renommée et le succès de la Maison Baguès. Elles sont anciennes, circa 1930-1940 et en bon état. Deux lumières par applique. Les motifs décoratifs (perroquets, feuilles) sont en verre moulé fixé sur une monture en métal doré. Bougeoirs en verre également et fausses bougies cachant les douilles des lampes. Câblée pour une utilisation européenne. Stunning pair of sconces by Maison Baguès (Paris). This model with the parrots is iconic and made Maison Baguès famous and successful. They are ancient : circa 1930's-1940's and in good condition. Two lights per sconce. Decorative motifs (parrots, leaves) are made of molded glass attached to a golden metal mount. Candle holders made of glass as well and fake candles hiding the lamp sockets. Wired for European use. -
