Large length mirror, circa 1925. -
Coiffeuse en placage de Coromandel et palissandre Piétement cannelé se terminant par un enroulement. Trois tiroirs en ceinture dont deux ornés d'une petite marqueterie à décor floral. Miroir circulaire en métal argenté. Un petit tabouret est joint à la coiffeuse. H : 48 cm ; Diamètre : 39 cm. Art Deco dressing table with stool by Krieger, circa 1925.Rosewood dressing table with arrow-tip legs and wound motif feet. Three side drawers, two drawers decorated with floral adornment marquetry (made of mixed exotic woods, metal and ivoirine). Silver plated circular mirror. Two small lighted bronze torcheres. The round stool is covered with an old grey fabric and has a same color cushion.
Krieger stamp on the lock. House Krieger was a famous cabinetmaker in the 1920s-1930s established 74 Faubourg Saint-Antoine in Paris (12th arrondissement). Wired for European use.

André Groult (1884-1966) était un décorateur et dessinateur de meubles français de renom, connu pour sa capacité à infuser sensualité et fantaisie dans ses créations. Issu d'une famille bourgeoise conventionnelle, il est devenu une figure clé de l'art décoratif du XXe siècle. Groult a épousé la créatrice de mode Nicole Poiret et a collaboré avec des artistes notables comme Louis Süe et Marie Laurencin. Il a présenté son travail à l'Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes de 1925, où il a conçu une chambre de femme aux tons roses et gris, utilisant des matériaux précieux tels que l’ébène de Macassar et l'ivoire. Son approche unique a laissé un impact durable sur les arts décoratifs.- Desserte Geisha pliantes en bois teinté à deux plateaux.

Marcel Gromaire (né le 24 juillet 1892 à Noyelles-sur-Sambre ; mort le 11 avril 1971 à Paris) était un peintre, graveur, décorateur, illustrateur et cartonnier français. Gromaire a laissé environ une centaine de carnets de différentes tailles, contenant tout, des simples croquis au trait aux dessins plus détaillés, dont certains sont devenus de petits tableaux en noir et blanc.- Dessin à la plume et encre de chine sur vélin.
